A beautiful message about growing old

Well, crap... Now I forgot what it was..
(above message received from my mom *laffin*)

Yes I am, and damned proud of it!

I know it's been a while. Sorry. Things got busy over here. There are several new entries up in the 2 Cents blog dealing with the trip to TN. There'll be one more to wrap that series up. Don't forget to do your Week~end Wordle! I've even dropped an entry in the *gasp* Padded Room (aka the Phoenix blog). Yeah, I was productive. :P~~~

What ya still doin here? Get ya butts over to the other blogs!

And so it begins

As a few of you know, my darling hubby grew up in Tennessee. Once a year during our trip there he renews his subscription to the local newspaper, The Claiborne Progress. The edition we get is about a week behind because it's mailed. The above political cartoon came out of the May 6th edition of The Progress. Of course, my sweet hubby immediately thought of me.......

Don't sneeze !

A friend emailled this to me. I couldnt resist....

sounds good to me

Actually, a week of Yanni in my head sounds better than good... it sounds wonderful.

home invasion aka a little visitor

I'm just catching up on reading my comics because I simply hadnt felt like going through all 100+ that I read on a normal day, plus I've been side-tracked with Idol and all. Any how the story arc on this particular strip started on March 30th and it wasn't until today's entry that I remembered WHY the story looked so familiar. It looked familiar because it reminded me of my dear friend cross the pond, Marmie! Her story is here: http://marmitetoasty.blogspot.com/2009/03/unexpected-visitoragain.html

American Idol humor

Ok, so I doctored this one a bit. It was just so fitting at the time. I have no clue what the original comic said..
